The Hong Kong Baptist University’s affiliated school Wang Jinhui Primary and Secondary School held a dedication ceremony for the student activity center "Joshua Hall" on January 21, 2021, to show the official opening of Joshua Hall, bringing a more comfortable campus environment to students, which is beneficial To organize different extracurricular activities to continue to promote the whole-person development of students.

The newly completed Joshua Hall was built with donations from the Kwok Chung Baofen Charity Fund. It is an indoor multi-purpose campus facility located on the ground floor of the middle school. It covers an area of more than 150 square meters. It is equipped with movable glass partitions and a temperature control system. Ample space for different types of activities and training allows students to learn, socialize, perform and practice regardless of the weather. At the same time, Joshua Hall is also a daily practice place for school teams such as fencing and table tennis, in order to achieve peak performance.
In addition, the central wall of the hall is equipped with a giant LED display, which can accommodate high-standard audio visual technology, suitable for holding various types of activities, such as lectures, seminars, and religious gatherings.

In view of the recent COVID-19 situation, the ceremony was held under social distancing and crowd control measures.
The ceremony invited Mr. Guo Jiasheng, the representative of the Kwok Chung Po Fen Charity Foundation, to be the officiating guest and give a speech. Mr. Kwok said that the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Kwok Yiwei Middle School named after his father’s father had affected the activities or training arrangements due to weather problems, so he donated the school to build a contract Shuyatang allows student activities to proceed normally in a space free from external factors, enabling students to learn in a more ideal environment.
A scholarship awarding ceremony was also held on the day of the ceremony.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Wang Guoqiang established the "Wang Guoqiang Ph.D. Scholarship for Excellence in Advancement" and "Wang Jinhui Scholarship" to commend the outstanding results in the public examinations and advance to well-known local or international universities such as Oxford University, Imperial College, etc. Of the graduates, and support students with financial needs, some of the award-winning students returned to school that day to receive gifts.
A group of award-winning students wrote thank-you letters to sincerely thank Dr. Wang Guoqiang's engineers for their support. On the one hand, they affirmed the efforts of the students, and on the other hand, they also helped to reduce their financial burden for further studies.
In addition, members of the fencing school team demonstrated fencing sports and explained fencing categories and competition rules on the spot. The superb demonstration won warm applause from the guests.

With the steady development of the school, the school continues to add new facilities and open up more activity spaces to create a campus environment that keeps pace with the times for students.
In 2016, the Wang Liao Huiwen Building of the complex was officially opened, and there are ancillary facilities such as Liang Guanghao and Wang Tingcong learning shared space, performing arts center, Dr. Yang Jun and his wife's visual arts center, indoor sports field, Fu Haojian and his wife's fitness center, outdoor net/basketball court, etc. facility.
In addition, the 21st Century classroom, STEAM laboratory, digital learning gallery, and i-Pad learning station also help train advanced thinking, communication skills and technological knowledge; the Endangered Species Museum helps promote interdisciplinary learning and environmental education.

In the next phase, the school will build a standard swimming pool, which is expected to be opened in 2023-24. It will provide students with on-campus water sports facilities, incorporate swimming into the physical education curriculum of primary and secondary schools, and at the same time facilitate the training of swimming schools and foster a sports atmosphere in the school. All teachers and students actively participate in sports.
