The Italian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 8,561 new infections with the Coronavirus during the past twenty-four hours, which brings the total to two million and 475,372 cases.
The Italian news agency AKI quoted the ministry as saying that 420 deaths were also recorded, bringing the total number of deaths to 85,881 cases, while the total number of people recovered reached one million and 897861.
