Rome - The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte is to offer his resignation in a cabinet meeting on Tuesday (26.1.).
The government announced in Rome on Monday evening.
Conte had narrowly won two votes of confidence in parliament last week, but his minority government has been on shaky legs ever since.
