The Public Corporation for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate continued to operate the water tanks for filling the tanks spread in the city of Hasakah to secure water for the citizens until the pumping of water from Alouk station is completed for all subscribers in the city and its neighborhoods.

The Director General of the Foundation, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ekla, stated in a statement to the SANA correspondent that the operations of securing water for citizens through tanks in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the International Committee of the Red Cross are continuing after the restart of the Alouk water station and the start of pumping water yesterday night to a number of neighborhoods in the city until the water pumping is completed For subscribers, who need an additional four days, according to the divisions specified within the established legalization program.

The engineer pointed out that the reality of pumping water from Alouk station is currently stable. Yesterday, the western neighborhoods of Al-Nashwa, Al-Sharia, and youth housing were fed, and today the pumping will take place in the eastern and western neighborhoods of Ghuwairan and southern residential communities.

It is noteworthy that the Corporation yesterday operated all the operating wells in the Alouk project, which numbered 21 in addition to 4 horizontal pumps, after shutting down the operation of the station for a week by the Turkish occupation forces.
