Nine of the 10 miners still trapped underground in China for two weeks have been found dead, state media reported on Monday (January 25th).

An explosion on January 10 at a gold mine in Qixia, Shandong province, left 22 miners several hundred meters deep.
Since then, 10 have died, 11 have been extracted alive on Sunday and one is still wanted, the China news agency said.
