The cultivated areas of wheat crop in the lands under the supervision of the Hama Agriculture Directorate to date amounted to 45,127 hectares of the total agricultural plan for the current season, amounting to 35,684 hectares.
The Director of Agriculture, Eng. Abdel Moneim Sabbagh, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent that wheat was cultivated in various regions of the governorate, especially in the cities and towns of Soran, Hama, Mahrada, Salamiyah, Hamra and Saboura, indicating that the current season was characterized by the expansion of agricultural lands and the entry of new areas with agricultural investment such as Morek, Lataminah, Kafrzita and Halfaya with The return of security and stability to the governorate and the liberation of a large number of villages and towns from terrorism.
He pointed out that the fuel needed for plowing and seeding was secured for farmers at a rate of 3 liters per acre, and 15 kg of fertilizer was secured for each dunum planted after the sensory detection, noting that the operations of financing farmers with fertilizer were extended until the 31st of this month, noting that the farmers of reproductive fields obtained On their entire allowance of compost.
It is noteworthy that last season, 37 thousand hectares of wheat were planted in the lands under the supervision of the Hama Agriculture Directorate.
