The prosecution requested 30 years of criminal imprisonment, with a 20-year safety sentence, against Hamza B., accused of being the author of the beatings and ill-treatment that led to the death of little Hyana in January 2018, this Monday, in front of the Cher Assize Court.
Regarding mother Noémie P., General Counsel Marie-Pierre Viret demanded 15 years in prison, judging her to be an accomplice in torture or acts of barbarism which resulted in death without intention of giving it.

Using the words of the expert, who evoked a "
psychopathic personality
" about her companion, the general counsel described a personality "
outside the norm and problematic from a societal point of view
."
"
It is dangerous for society and never calls into question
", asserted the magistrate, supporting her heavy requisition on the testimony of the forensic pathologist.
The latter had assessed the child's suffering at seven, on a scale of seven.
The small victim suffered from 32 injuries, including 14 bites, a burn and fractures to the wrists, forearms, hands and fingers.
On December 30, 2017, the girl was dropped off in a coma at Bourges hospital, by her mother, under a false name.
The latter then fled with her companion, Hamza B. The child, "
who presented multiple bruises, as well as bite marks, burns and a compressive subdural hematoma
", in the words of the prosecutor of the Republic of Bourges in 2018, died a fortnight later, after being transferred to the hospital in Tours.
She was six years old.

The Advocate General has also requested a deprivation of definitive parental authority against Noémie P., who has two other children, including one of the main defendant.

She is an accomplice when she decides to no longer educate her daughter so that the violence is not noticed,
" she said.
The magistrate insisted on the immaturity of the young mother, aged 22 at the time of the facts, evoking a "
monster of selfishness
" for having done everything possible to protect her companion, in particular by failing the placement order pronounced to protect Hyana a few months before the tragedy.

Hyana faces two adults: one who tortures her, one who keeps her available to her executioner,
" she summed up.

She preferred Hamza to her children
