Kamala Harris is a trailblazer.
Joe Biden described her in the election campaign as a "fearless fighter".
But did "The Simpsons" see them coming?
Kamala Harris
is the Vice President of the United States.
The 56-year-old is making history - as a woman, black and person of Indian descent in this position.
The cult series
"The Simpsons"
is known for its prophecies - also in the case of Harris?
Washington, DC - If you follow social media these days, it quickly becomes clear who the star of the new US administration is:
Kamala Harris
.
Woman, black and of Indian descent - the 56-year-old democrat is writing history three times as
Vice-President
.
“I may be the first woman in this position, but I will not be the last,” she said in her speech when it became known that
Joe Biden
wanted her as a “runnig mate” in the campaign.
On the
Tikok platform
, which is popular with the younger generation, you can see numerous videos with
Kamala Harris
.
The users present her as a bearer of hope.
And celebrate like a Hollywood star.
The narrative with which she enters the
second highest office in the United States
becomes clear: Harris is a pioneer who empowered people and people of color and proves that in the so-called land of a thousand possibilities, a lot can actually be possible.
The sad background is that the black population in the United States is grappling with the outgrowths of a
nationwide racism
.
Donald Trump
instilled this poison into the hearts of his followers.
Kamala Harris
is thus the symbol of a future in which people of color have their rightful place.

Kamala Harris writes three stories: Did "The Simpsons" predict their appearance?
The television series
"The Simpsons"
is known for its prophecies.
The cult show allegedly
predicted
Donald Trump's presidency
and the corona pandemic
.
This created a real
hype about Simpsons sequences
.
Fans saw clues about the
storming of the US Capitol
, the end of the
Game of Thrones saga
and -
Kamala Harris
!
In that very episode from 2000, which supposedly anticipates the Trump presidency, evidence of the vice presidency of Kamala Harris is now being read into it.
What actually stands out:
Lisa Simpson
, Bart's daughter, becomes the first US President - not Vice President like Harris - of the United States.
And her outfit is strikingly similar to the Harris look when she was inaugurated on January 20th.
Both wear purple suits, pearl necklaces and pearl earrings.

Vice President Kamala Harris: Like Lisa Simpson, she wore purple - but the color has a political meaning
The makers of
"The Simpsons"
have a good knack for future trends.
For the color choice, which
First Lady Dr.
Jill Biden, Lara Bush, Michelle Obama
on the day of inauguration Joe Biden and Kamala Harris elected in varying degrees, there is another explanation.
Because “purple” is a political color, the
symbolic color of the suffragette movement
who fought for women's suffrage at the beginning of the 20th century.
It is therefore regarded as a bow to those who paved the way for you.
And for a progressive, combative politician like
Kamala Harris, it is
not a surprising choice.
That also applies to Lisa Simpson.
Other observers saw the choice of colors as a sign of
rapprochement between the Democratic and Republican parties
.
Because if you mix the signature colors together, purple is the result.
"The L-Word": Fans of the queer cult series also see references to Kamala Harris
“
Kamala Harris
gives me Bette Porter vibes and it attracts me very much.
Impressive, ”writes a Twitter user.
"Kamala Harris looks like
Bette Porter from L-Word,
" another.
“I ca
n't look at
Vice President Kamala Harris
without thinking of Bette Porter,” reads another comment.
Confirmed: Kamala Harris is real life Bette Porter 🥰🌻 pic.twitter.com/2G43od58pq

The series
“The L Word” is considered the queer answer
to “Sex and the City”.
The series aired by 2009, spawning six seasons and sketching the life of a lesbian, glamorous circle of friends in Los Angeles.
One of the main characters is
Bette Porter
, the very one who is now being compared to
Kamala Harris
.
Bette Porter is an ambitious, progressive woman - and a person of color.
In the sequel to the classic,
"Generation Q"
, she pursues her political ambitions and runs for mayor of Los Angeles - the first lesbian woman to hold this office.
And thus also as a trailblazer and a role model.
