Tonight (Monday), the Ministry of Health published a picture of the state of the corona virus in Israel.
According to the data, 6,015 new carriers of the virus were discovered today - which is 10.1% of the tests (59,738 total tests).
This is an increase compared to yesterday - in which 4,923 new carriers were identified (9.3% of the tests).
The number of people infected with the corona virus in Israel since the beginning of the epidemic is 605,397.
There are currently 71,333 active patients.
The number of hospitalized is 1,845, of whom 1,174 are in critical condition.
325 respirators and 420 in critical condition.
The death toll from the plague stands at 4,478 people.
The number of staff in isolation stands at 3,191, of whom 314 are doctors and 810 are nurses.
The number of people vaccinated in the first dose against the corona virus is 2,637,279, which is 28.62% of the entire Israeli society. The number of people who received the second vaccine dose in Israel is 1,189,813, which is 12.91% of the population in Israel.
