Meetings of the fifth round of the small committee emanating from the expanded body to discuss the constitution began today at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, with the participation of the national delegation and other delegations.
The fourth round of meetings of the Constitution Debate Committee was held in Geneva from November 30 to December 4.
The head of the national delegation, Dr. Ahmed Al-Kuzbari emphasized that the talks dealt with several issues, including national principles, the file of the return of refugees, rejection of any separatist scheme for the Syrian lands, in addition to the humanitarian file and the need for urgent treatment of it.
It is noteworthy that the third round of committee meetings was held in Geneva at the end of August 2020, while the first and second rounds were held in 2019.
