"The tea that will bring peace" or "plagiarism, the crystal of the tions"?

The Queen of England has not known her soul out of concern in recent weeks, and it is not because of the corona virus or even her wayward grandchildren who keep sleep out of her eyes.

Right under her nose, Elizabeth feels the earth shake and the crown rattles on her head and all because of a drama that stems from the real jewel of the kingdom: the tea.

Flight hours from England, right here in Israel, a real battle is being fought for him, which has been given the code name "Battle of the Almond".

The conflict is between two camps: fans of the almond tea who will do anything to get their favorite tea the respect they feel it deserves, and on the other hand the opponents, those consumers who tasted the tea and shouted "Enough for Pike News".

A brilliant marketing exercise or divine drink

For the benefit of those who have not been exposed to the hottest discussion on the net since the issue of chickpeas or round, here is a summary: In recent weeks, tea from the Wissotzky's magical garden series has gone viral, thanks in no small part to a collection of posts on Facebook.

The reason for the "hype" is not entirely clear, as it is not a new tea but one that has been sitting on the shelves for several good years.

However, it has recently, as mentioned, gone viral and has become the subject of debate among many surfers.

Is the hype exaggerated or is this a star.

The rich taste of the almonds, combined with a mixture of fruits and spices, creates an infusion with an intoxicating aroma with a subtle sweetness, "reads a description on Wissotzky's website about the tea that belongs to the magical garden series.

And what did the fans who admire write?

"This is an excellent tea that should be served at an unequivocal royal table," it read.

"The smell and taste of the tea reminds me of chocolate-flavored waffles. After each sip, I look for the waffle," wrote another surfer.

"It's amazing," "It's like drinking an almond croissant," added more almond fans.

"An opinion that must be popular: the only one who can unite the center-left bloc at this stage is Tion of Hemdat Hamaked. Run Tion, run," wrote another surfer jokingly.

"God wanted us to experience the beginning of redemption, so send us the almond greed," wrote another surfer.

And on the other side of the glass?

a storm

"The truth is I do not understand the enthusiasm, one of the unsuccessful decisions I tasted," shared a disappointed surfer.

"What do you not understand? Influenced. Looking for likes", "another surfer reinforced her words." Even if it tastes like gravel people will buy, "another surfer added and was reassured:" Exactly!

This teapot is the crystal of teapots. "

"The smell is crazy! The actual taste in my opinion is of tea after dipping wild berries in it," it read.

"The smell of almond covetousness is why people believe there is a God, taste is proof that there is none," another surfer added.

"I'm trying to figure out who would want to drink tea with a B&B name by the hour?"

Things that need to be said are also written on the Facebook page.

"It is an indescribable divine taste. You are just weepers who do not know how to enjoy anything and look for flaw in everything," a surfer wrote to anyone who claimed that this was a successful marketing exercise but not much beyond.

Others were outraged that the name of the tea was not faithful to its ingredients and wondered how it was given the name Hemdat Almond when it did not contain any almonds at all.

"So about the almond craving trend," wrote a surfer who decided to look into the matter.

"I bought it, I got home, I said let's take a look at the list of ingredients, and there is not even a percentage of almonds in it at all. So what exactly is covetousness and what kind of almonds? I want almonds."

"This should be called the covetousness of the lie," other surfers wrote in disappointment.

"Gives a serious fight"

In an attempt to understand what was behind the storm we turned to the Apple Foundation, the marketing director of the Wiszuki Tea Division.

"The hype surrounding the tea is absolutely real," Apple confirmed, adding that the tea does indeed star high in the best-selling teapot rank in the Wiszuki Magic Garden series.

"It's not a trivial matter when he has strong and old competitors like Louisa and green tea" she added "and he gives a serious fight."

"Every time a new employee comes to the company," Apple revealed to us inside information, "we always lead him to the kitchen drawer of surprises where there are all the tions you can dream of. The almond craving has become a star pretty quickly, With a little milk ", she shared a tip to improve the taste.

Apple also confirmed that this is indeed not a new flavor, and told us that even about three years ago the flavor gained a lot of interest around it that calmed down after a certain period.

Now, probably thanks in no small part to the renewed discussion created on the net and especially in the group "Hungry for Your Hunger" where he has starred in recent weeks in a significant number of posts that received dozens of shares and hundreds of comments, a renewed hype was created around him.

"The shortage of shelves is real," she confirms, "and we do receive a lot of inquiries from consumers with questions about the tea and how and where it can be obtained and of course take care to fill the shortage where it should."

The hype surrounding the tea also led to secondary predation, with two cookie recipes by Krutit and Chen and Alon Koren going no less viral than the tea itself, and even managed to get some of the tea-disappointed camp to speak in praise when it comes in a baked format rather than a glass.

So who won?

Apparently like anything to do with taste and smell there really is no unequivocal or correct or incorrect answer, but one thing is for sure: such a storm over a cup of tea has not been since Alice stumbled upon the Crazy Hatter party.
