In the box of the accused, the wife of the baker, from whom she had been separated for two years, Fabienne Mehens, 50 years old, accused of complicity in murder and of complicity in an attempted assassination, just like his companion of the then, Yves Brassier, also 50 years old.

The latter's former partner, Olivier Coudray, 41, was appearing against him for murder and attempted murder.

Vincent Calvez had received two bullets in the head on August 23, 2018, shot at point blank range, as he was preparing, shortly after midnight, to leave his home to go to work.

His partner, Marie G., aged 27 and present at the hearing, was also shot in the head.

Fabienne Mehens would have been the instigator of the ambush.

In the process of divorce, the couple had significant debts, including the purchase of two houses.

The three defendants were indicted and imprisoned in November 2018. The two men quickly confessed to the facts while Fabienne Mehens only after several hearings.
