The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 669 new infections and 53 deaths during the past 24 hours.
The ministry’s spokesman, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of Coronavirus infections in Egypt has so far reached 162486, and the total death cases have reached 9,012.
Mujahid indicated that 504 people recovered from HIV infection have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering to 127001 until today.
