Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed today his country's readiness for dialogue on the security of the Gulf region with its countries without any foreign interference.
In a statement carried by Fars News Agency, after his meeting with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Muhammad Al-Sabah in Kuwait, Araghji stressed the importance of dialogue and the non-interference of countries from outside the region as two important principles for collective security in the region, noting Kuwait's efforts to establish understanding and reconciliation between the Gulf states.
On the nuclear file signed with Iran, Araghchi made it clear that his country will not negotiate a new nuclear agreement or any files outside the current agreement, indicating that any negotiations with the "five plus one" countries will be limited only to the method of implementing the nuclear agreement.
