Attenkirchen will soon become very modern: with their own Facebook presentation and information brochure, everyone should always be kept up to date.

Attenkirchen

- For Mayor Matthias Kern, this step towards adequate public relations work is fundamentally important - Attenkirchen, like Zolling or Haag, should get a community brochure.

That would be a huge enrichment for the town hall boss.

He can't get much from the current community newsletter: "I thought it was so bad!"

"In 2020 we weren't really busy with public relations"

He would much rather have a journal that appears up to four times a year with a wide range of topics and dates.

"We need a clever product," emphasized Kern and made one thing clear right away: The brochure should be the result of cooperation between the community.

To achieve this, Kern suggested setting up a working group relatively quickly.

Because one thing the mayor had to admit: "In 2020 we weren't really busy with public relations!"

Looking back over the year wouldn't be bad

How should it proceed?

The community bears the costs, and interested parties - for example associations - can register for contributions.

Under no circumstances should the product be influenced by party politics, special guidelines for the choice of topics should ensure that.

If necessary, and that is what the mayor and the local council want to reserve for themselves: the council body would probably have the last word.

Dates should also be shown in the brochure, and the clubs' annual planning could soon be available digitally and thus better viewed.

Kern also pleaded for a review of the year - precisely because little happened in 2020 with regard to information reflections.

Also important for the mayor: An Attenkirchen Facebook page that he would like to maintain himself.

The articles in the community brochure should then be sent digitally to the councils so that they can veto them if necessary.

Anonymous survey of residents

In order to drive community development forward, meaningful data should soon be available.

A resident broadcast with 15 questions is supposed to shed light on the darkness.

Citizens can rate - anonymously -, among other things, the layout of the area, local public transport or the offers in the residential area.

The questionnaire is to be distributed by the councils themselves.

In order to save high return costs (around 3000 euros postage), citizens can submit their wishes and suggestions to the town hall.

All committee members also agreed to provide their private mailboxes for dropping the questionnaire.

“This is a very, very important survey,” Kern emphasized in conclusion.
