Only in the Fürstenfeld Monastery Fürstenfeld Monastery / Event Forum is the mask requirement lifted after a joint discussion with the City of Fürstenfeldbruck, according to the District Office.

The number of visitors there has been increasingly lower in the last few weeks;

a mask requirement no longer appears necessary.

The district office on the current situation: The numbers of new infections in the Fürstenfeldbruck district are currently no longer increasing.

This shows that the measures are also taking effect in our district and that we are on the right track.

In care facilities and asylum seekers accommodation, the infection rate has unfortunately remained high in the past few weeks, which is why the measures there would have to be extended.

The mask requirement even in heavily frequented public places remains an important part of the containment of the pandemic as a hygiene measure.

However, only those who live in a circle are included in the corona calculations.

Plans for vaccination center

In the background, the district is currently working on the creation of a vaccination center for mid-December, as required by the Free State.

Various rescue organizations and private providers have been asked to submit offers, a spokeswoman reported when asked.

These are institutions that are known to be able to provide what is required.

The spokeswoman does not believe that a center will really be available in mid-December.

But if the vaccine is actually already available, mobile teams could go out for the first time and administer the vaccine doses.

In the long term, the goal is to have the vaccination carried out by general practitioners.
