The court convicted Jonathan Padida of running over two cyclists in Sharon to death
Padida was convicted as part of a plea bargain in the frivolous killing of Yaniv Lugassi and Tomer Weinstein, whom he ran over in 2019 near Moshav Bnei Zion.
He was also convicted of obstruction of justice and reckless driving, and the prosecution will ask for a 12-year prison sentence.

The Central District Court today (Tuesday) convicted Jonathan Padida of lightly killing Yaniv Lugassi and Tomer Weinstein - two cyclists who ran over to death in 2019.
Padida was also convicted in a plea bargain of obstructing court proceedings and reckless driving, and the prosecution will seek to impose 12 years in prison on him.
