In recent weeks, a Covid-19 outbreak has occurred which has affected about twenty people including guests - almost all infected - and staff.
Four deaths.
The seizure decree, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Teramo, was carried out by the Carabinieri of the Nas of Pescara, in collaboration with the soldiers of the Castelnuovo Vomano (Teramo) station.
The investigations, coordinated by the acting prosecutor Davide Rosati and carried out by the military of the Nas of Pescara, under the orders of Colonel Domenico Candelli, were triggered as part of the investigations on the Covid-19 outbreaks within the health and social-health facilities.
In the structure in question, positivity to the Sars-CoV-2 virus was recorded, both among the assistance staff and among the guests, who were transferred to the hospitals in the area.
The four deaths, involving two women and two men, one of them 51 years old, occurred in the hospitals of Teramo and Giulianova (Teramo). In the course of the investigations it was ascertained that instead of a declared "social farm", there was in fact a residence for elderly guests, however not self-sufficient and with psychophysical discomfort.
Furthermore, the assistance personnel lacked specific assistance qualifications and did not belong to any of the health professions or arts, resulting classified as "farm laborers".
Due to their care setting, the guests were all transferred to other suitable health facilities.
Packages of drugs for treatment of pathologies seized and relevant health documentation acquired.
The preventive seizure decree concerned two properties.
