LE FIGARO.
- Xavier Bertrand, whom you support, evokes a rapprochement with Arnaud Montebourg.
Why does this idea make you jump?
Damien ABAD.

What makes me jump are not the declarations of Xavier Bertrand.
He is right to want to shake up the codes by explaining that our presidential program cannot be a copy and paste of our 2017 program. I also note that Arnaud Montebourg made more calls with his foot to the right than the reverse .
The right cannot be unnatural and must keep its political DNA because I am convinced that there is a space for the liberal, pro-business right, capable of strongly speaking on freedoms and ready to challenge Emmanuel Macron on these topics.
We must not leave the liberal base to macronism, that of François Fillon who represented 20% of the vote.
