Palestinian media revealed that Atallah Ryan, a high school student from Karawat Bnei Hassan, received a failing test less than an hour before he tried to stab an IDF soldier

Failing test - Killed terrorist: This morning (Tuesday), Atallah Ryan, a 17-year-old from Bnei Hassan, received a poor score on the test - and shortly after leaving school he was already on his way to carry out the attack, which ended his life.

It is unknown at this time if there is a link between the failure of the test and Ryan's decision to carry out the attack.

The attempted attack took place at the Giti Avishar junction, which is not far from his village of residence.

The village, which is close to the Barkan industrial zone, is very much identified with Hamas and has an extensive FBI history. Following the Oslo Accords, the village is defined as Area B.

Following a shooting attack near the Ariel junction in 2007, Road 5 was extended from the Giti Avishar junction to the Ariel junction and widened to a two-lane road until November 2008. A month later, it was inaugurated at the Ramzor junction, which is the first in Samaria and Benjamin.
