A 21-year-old schoolgirl was also slightly injured.

The woman had accidentally cut off the path of an ambulance overtaking in Glonn: She wanted to make way for the ambulance on Professor-Lebsche-Strasse, which was approaching behind her with flashing lights and a siren.

When she steered her Renault Clio to the left into a parking lot, the driver had already started to overtake, according to the police.

The officials diagnosed the action as “well meant”.

But there was an accident, the woman was slightly injured.
