The Ministry of Health issued a directive today (Tuesday) that it is possible to vaccinate against the corona virus under the age of 16 who are at risk of serious illness.
The ministry has stated for the first time that vaccines for young people in special and life-threatening situations can be considered.
HMOs began vaccinating those born in 2004-2003 against the virus this week as part of the "give a shoulder" vaccination campaign.
About 300,000 teenagers aged 18-16 are expected to be vaccinated in the coming days.
