The combination of the two caused heavy snowdrifts in many places on Tuesday.
Numerous roads were only passable with difficulty, and the clearance services were in constant use.
The motorists had apparently adjusted to slippery roads.
There was only a few cracks.
Fürstenfeldbruck - Especially on smaller roads in north-south direction, the gusty wind blew tons of white splendor onto the roadway on Tuesday.
The view was partially severely restricted.
“We are in constant use,” said Germering's deputy building yard manager Michael Seeholzer.
He sent a snow plow to exposed areas in the open every half hour to keep the roads passable.
At the Schusterhäusl, the building yard employees had to get a stuck van back on the road.
The traffic - including a bus - has already jammed behind the vehicle.

At Puchheim-Ort it caught a bus in heavy snow on Monday.
Passengers helped.
There were also some minor accidents on the slippery roads in many places.
On Monday evening, a 19-year-old crashed into the guardrail on the B 471 near Geiselbullach.
According to the police, the man was apparently too fast.
The damage amounted to around 300 euros.
At around 7.30 p.m., a 44-year-old slipped into a stationary car on Lena-Christ-Strasse in Gröbenzell.
The snow was not the only culprit in this case.
As reported by the police, the woman had around 1.2 per thousand.
Early on Tuesday morning around 3 a.m., a 22-year-old from the Aichach-Friedberg district was hit.
He was traveling between Moorenweis and Langwied when he turned right off the road.
The young man was unharmed.
Damage to his car amounted to around 1500 euros.
The car had to be towed.
Overall, the area of responsibility of the Fürstenfeldbruck police remained quite calm - which is why the inspection's traffic expert, Oliver Erhardt, praised the drivers too.

In the Nebel district, three cars landed in the ditch.
Not quite so lightly, but at least without injuries, was an accident in Geltendorf.
A 56-year-old from Bruck and a 60-year-old from Geltendorf collided on a snow-covered road.
According to the police, the damage is around 10,000 euros.
