It could all have been so simple:

(64) would hand over the management of Robert Bosch GmbH in 2021 one year before his contract expires;
Franz Fehrenbach
(71) suitably clear the head of the supervisory board and industrial trust for him.
Before any major discussion broke out, the technology giant's most powerful positions would have been rearranged.
And car boss
Stefan Hartung

would have been available as Denner's successor
.
Nothing was decided yet;
but the story was not only circulating in the corporate headquarters on Gerlinger Schillerhöhe.
It was also circulated in the media and was generally considered to be set.
Meanwhile, it is said at the top of the Bosch team that nothing will come of this for the time being.
Everything will now happen a year later.
