The call for violence that the non-party district councilor Regina Schropp is said to have posted on the “Facebook” social network - she denies it herself - causes horror across all parties in the district council.

Now ways should be looked for to remove Schropp from the committee.

District

- Just a few minutes after their lockdown for hate speech and bullying expired, Schropp posted a link to a federal government press conference last week with the comment: “These people must be caught and locked up.

Preferably in a hole in the ground or in a beech forest. ”Facebook promptly blocked her again, and Andreas Krahl, Member of the Green Party, filed a criminal complaint.

On behalf of the Greens parliamentary group in the district council, Katharina von Platen (Penzberg) now nailed her head and applied in writing to the district administration for "the immediate exclusion from the district council of Ms. Regina Schropp".

"This is the second time that the now non-attached district councilor Ms. Schropp has made insulting (and inciting violence) statements against members of the government in connection with the corona pandemic," said the reason.

Schropp “has now once again disqualified himself from holding a political office through her statements.

It is an imposition for the other district councilors to continue to have to regard Ms. Schropp as an official colleague, ”she continues.

It was clear to her that the district council could not make this decision, said von Platen when asked.

But her application is about positioning herself and applying pressure.

It must be examined how Schropp can be removed from the district council.

CSU: Behavior "that one must not tolerate"

CSU parliamentary group leader Peter Erhard (Böbing) also said, when asked by the local newspaper, that Schropp had “shown a behavior that one cannot tolerate”.

Should she be removed from the district council, an AfD candidate would move up in her stead, which would mean that the CSU would lose a place on various committees.

"But that cannot be the reason to tolerate such behavior," said Erhard.

A CSU parliamentary group meeting will take place next week.

"And the subject of 'Schropp' is at the top of the agenda."

Falk Slyuterman (SPD, Schongau) was appalled by the recent abuses of the non-party Peißenberger, who is close to the "lateral thinkers" movement.

"It is difficult to imagine working with someone like that in the district council," he said.

He insists that a large majority should call on Schropp to resign from the district council, but will also discuss this with the parliamentary group.

BfL: "Does not comply with voter mandate in any way"

Ms. Schropp was “unsustainable” for the district council, said the deputy district administrator Wolfgang Taffertshofer (BfL / Obersöchering) on request.

Not only does she stay away from the district council permanently because she refuses to wear a mask during the meeting, she also damages the reputation of the district council with her statements.

"This woman is not fulfilling her voting mandate in any way," Taffertshofer continued.

That could no longer be accepted.

Free voters: "Permanent skipping of the meetings"

The Free Voters also decided unanimously to support the motion to exclude Schropp, as Susann Enders (Weilheim) reported.

“The call for a criminal offense and threat to the federal government in connection with concentration camps no longer has anything to do with political statements.

Here it has finally left the path of legality, ”said Enders, explaining the reasons.

Parliamentary group leader Michael Marksteiner added: "Ms. Schropp has proven by her permanent skipping of the meetings and the repeated verbal abuses that she is not suitable for the office of the district council."

District Administrator: "Every limit of decency and morality exceeded"

When asked, District Administrator Andrea Jochner-Weiß said: “If Ms. Schropp actually made this statement, she has exceeded all limits of decency and morality and has probably shown her real face.

Since, according to the current legal situation, there is no possibility of removing an incumbent member of the district council from office, unfortunately I cannot support the Green's motion for legal reasons. "

The legal situation: Exclusion from the district council won't be that easy

As early as autumn, when Regina Schropp insulted district administrator Andrea Jochner-Weiß in an email, the administration was commissioned to check to what extent an exclusionary procedure against Schropp could be started in the district council.

As the manager of the district office, Georg Leis, reported yesterday, the examination showed that such a procedure in the district council itself is not legally permissible.

"The legislator wants to prevent democratically elected volunteers from being simply excluded by majority vote if the others don't agree with their views," said Leis.

In the specific case, however, it is different, since the statements by Schropp are criminally relevant: “If there is a conviction in this context, the judge can deny Ms. Schropp the eligibility.

Then she would also lose her mandate in the district council, ”the manager continued.
