Eight people from one family were killed and four others injured after a truck collided with a car in the western Indian state of Rajasthan.
The Chinese agency, Xinhua, quoted local police as saying today ... the accident occurred when a truck with a speeding trailer collided with a car near a bridge on the Panas River in the Tonk region of Rajasthan state, about 110 km south of Jaipur, the state capital, killing eight people from one family. And wounding four others, and causing material damage to the vehicle.
Reports said that the truck driver escaped from the scene and that the police began searches to arrest him.
