Between 100,000 and 150,000 people were brutally murdered in the Babi Yar massacre in Kiev, so it was only symbolic that today (Wednesday) a memorial garden was held in memory of the victims in close cooperation between the Jewish community in Ukraine, the Ukrainian parliament, the UN, , Embassy of France and Embassy of Poland.

The event was held on the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, in extraordinary cooperation between the Jewish community and the Chief Rabbi, and the UN Ambassador to Ukraine and the Ukrainian Parliament, and included a Jewish memorial service. .
The moving ceremony was attended by many embassy representatives and government officials, some physically and others online due to the corona plague.
