The Cultural Center in Al-Midan held a poetry evening in which a number of poets participated, whose poems dealt with social and humanitarian issues and a description of Damascus.
The poet, Malak Al-Moam, delivered texts that were dominated by the reflection of social reality and self-interest, describing social, human and realistic situations.
The poet Ghayath Jouni also delivered texts that were limited to the poetry of the two rhymes who committed to love Damascus, the national concern and the fluent language, in addition to humanitarian and emotional texts that reflected a personal and special passion.
The poet Zawat Hamdo presented her texts in a metered poetic style during the evening and linked her love for Damascus and her attachment to her city of Latakia, describing the ancient history of Syria.
