Some netizens shared a post in the Facebook group "on9仔女联盟会 (on9 limited) official reserve group", referring to the Sau Tao brand Xiaoqiao rice noodles purchased a week ago. Shoutao brand affiliated company admits insufficient
Regarding the complaint from netizens, Xin Shunfu Food Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shou Tao Brand, explained: "According to the photos provided by the victim, there are holes in the inner bag of the rice noodles. We initially suspect that the main reason for the mildew of the rice noodles is It is caused by the rupture of the inner packaging bag. Based on the fact that our company’s rice noodles do not add any preservatives, but use lactic acid to keep them fresh. When the inner packaging bag is broken, the rice noodles will become moldy when exposed to air.”
Xin Shunfu Food expressed concern and regret about the incident, saying that it has requested the factory to follow up and investigate, and will strengthen product quality management, and start to study how to improve packaging bags to avoid similar incidents from happening again.
Regarding the handling method of deleting messages, he admitted that there were "deficiencies and negligence" and promised to pay close attention to it in the future.
