Prohibition of a property tax C is to be lifted

Eching's mayor Sebastian Thaler is happy that, following tendencies in recent years to wind up the district housing company, the new district administrator wants to revive it.
SPD wants to stick to U6 extension
At the city level, City Councilor Peter Warlimont announced that an application would soon be made to draw up a “Master Plan Housing”.
Content: Formulate measures, funds, goals, how and where in the city housing is to be created in the next 15 years.
There will be more on this in a specially scheduled press conference in around two weeks.
The other big topic - also for 2021 and far beyond: traffic.
They want to work to ensure that the district office does not view the topic Tempo 30 in urban areas so restrictively; despite a sobering feasibility study, they will stick to the extension of the U6 into the district by advocating a change in the federal funding guidelines, and one I am rather skeptical about the four-lane expansion of the Schlueter Bridge.
"A lot helps a lot" is more an expression of yesterday's transport policy, according to Mehltretter.
It is important to examine alternatives - for example a connection to the S1 via the airport to the Ostbahnhof.
In the city of Freising, the Isarsteg Süd project and a cycle path along the Schlueter Bridge - whatever it looks like - are at the top of the agenda, according to Warlimont.
Women's shelter overburdened - expansion planned
It was also Warlimont who addressed two “special topics”: It has been known for many years that the Freising women's shelter is “completely overburdened”.
In 2019 there were 19 recordings and 163 inquiries.
"Now is the time to do something," said Warlimont and announced an initiative by the SPD to expand the facility.
And Warlimont was very skeptical about the idea of renovating the JoHo at the existing location.
If you look at how the renovation of the business school turned out to be when new problems and higher costs were added again and again (we reported several times), then it would be “more sensible” to think of a new building for the JoHo elsewhere.
The current school area on Vimystraße can then be used for urban development.
