Talmud Torah opened again today (Wednesday) in Beitar Illit - in violation of the closure regulations.

Students were documented entering the "Mea Shearim" Talmud Torah operating in the city.

At the institution, students from the general Hassidic stream in the ultra-Orthodox sector study, and it receives a partial budget from the state.

Some of the students in it are from families affiliated with Agudat Yisrael, the Hassidic faction that makes up Torah Judaism.

In Beitar Illit, there are currently 1,336 active patients in Corona - with 25% positive subjects.

The city is in third place in Israel in the percentage of positive for the virus.

At the same time, police forces also arrived this morning at the Grodno yeshiva in Ashdod, where they had recently committed violations that developed into clashes, but it remained empty of people.
