Still, Yulia Navalnaïa has attracted all eyes since her husband was put behind bars, perhaps for a long time, and has raised expectations.
One would evoke, to be convinced of it, the crowd which chanted its name, on January 17, when it emerged alone from the arrivals of the Moscow airport of Cheremetyevo.
Right after the arrest of Alexei Navalny, she then resumed her words:
"I am not afraid and I call on you all not to be afraid."
On Saturday, she went to the demonstration in Moscow to demand the release of the opponent, and she herself was briefly arrested.
Yulia, born Abrosimova, forty-four years ago in Moscow, finds herself propelled to the front line.
