Ayman Abu Safra, director of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank branch in Suqaylabiyah, announced that about 69 million pounds had been disbursed to the value of the cotton bills marketed to the governorate's gins.

Abu Safra explained to the SANA Economic Bulletin that the disbursements were carried out according to statutory statements received from the Cotton Ginning and Marketing Corporation specifying the name of the farmer, the quantity delivered and the amount to be spent.

He added that the disbursement operations included agricultural associations and private sector farmers in Suqaylabiyah and Ain al-Krum, pointing to the continuation of financing winter crops through the sale of fertilizers and wheat seeds to farmers.
