Eight days to close the lists for the 24th Knesset:

In the center-left bloc, no essay has yet been registered.

A whole week, in political terms, can last forever - so it is quite possible that in the coming days there will be connections, more or less surprising.

But it seems that all parties would prefer to close agreements before the last day.

Those responsible for conducting the negotiations are mainly the party leaders. Some of them prefer to sometimes use messengers and keep the cards close to their chests, so as not to look too enthusiastic about the connection - a step that could take their power outward.

The chairman of Yesh Atid, Yair Lapid, prefers to walk alone to the polls with his list in its current form - Yesh Atid, without a hyphen. A party has been leaping in recent polls in recent weeks, Blue and white and the way things were managed and also dismantled, he is not enthusiastic at this point about joining parties that are on the verge of a blocking percentage. At the same time, the party hopes prominent figures like Tzipi Livni will join the list.

Blue-and-white chairman Bnei Gantz is interested in joining - but his request remains orphaned for the time being, and the parties seem to be running away from a blue-and-white brand like wildfire. The reasons are of course clear:

Still, Blue and White has a very attractive card: its election budget, which is much larger than the other small parties.

But in spite of everything, it seems that the left-wing bloc is currently holding on to the principle - not to join Gantz - even at the cost of giving up the tempting budget with which to campaign.

Most of the eyes in the bloc are on the chairman of the new Labor Party, MK Merav Michaeli.

At the same time, the bloc's parties are a little worried about the aura that surrounds it with its success in the internal elections, and fear that because of this it will set tough conditions in negotiations. It is estimated that Michaeli will wait for the results of the job list primaries.

Ron Huldai's "Israelis" party is not really succeeding in launching the campaign, and the party is very disappointed with the steep decline in the polls.

Now at the party headquarters they are longing for connections and winking at the work of Merav Michaeli.

Despite this, it is estimated that Huldai will eventually decide to remain mayor of Tel Aviv, and will not be sworn in as a Knesset member, although he promised to resign from the municipality.

Meretz is currently conducting an assessment of the situation, and their situation in the polls remains stable at about five seats.

The chairman of the Tnufa party, Ofer Shelach, who was the first to call for a connection with the Israelis and Labor, continues to work hard for the connection.

The chairman of the Economic Party, Prof. Yaron Zelicha, who is approaching the blocking percentage, stated in an interview with Israel Today that he will not be willing to join any party - and says he intends to keep his word in the hope of strengthening seats by election day.
