The main and finance committee of the city council extended this measure at its most recent meeting.
It is now valid until the end of June for applications received by the end of March.
Installment payments are granted until the end of the year at the latest.
The committee thus followed the recommendation of the ministries.
As Nadine Zikeli, head of the finance department at the town hall, reported, 64 corona-related deferral entries were received in the previous year.
Installment payments for tax obligations totaling 958 120 euros were agreed.
Most of the debts have now been paid off.
813 861 euros of the open taxes have been paid, an amount of 144 259 euros is still open.
