The Eiffage construction group was indicted at the end of 2020 for manslaughter, as part of the investigation into the accident of a school bus, gutted by the side of a truck, which killed six teenagers in February 2016 in Rochefort (Charente-Maritime), we learned this Thursday from a judicial source.

Eiffage, who owned the dump truck, was indicted at the end of November for
“involuntary homicides and injuries by a legal person”
, declared to AFP the prosecutor of the Republic of La Rochelle Laurent Zuchowicz, confirming information from
La Charente Libre
. In 2016, days after the accident, the 23-year-old driver of the truck was indicted for manslaughter and unintentional injury.
