Tell us about your business:

"I am a graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music, winner of the Dean's Award for 1997, piano teacher for 31 years and a member of Afta (Piano Teachers Association), and I own the Atmosphere for Piano Sounds program - playing background piano music. For every event - exhibitions, reading parties, launches, chef meals, home events in the living room, etc. It is suitable for many different types of events. "

How Does B144 Help Promote Your Business?

"Since I do not have my own website at the moment, the page on B144 is like a home page for me. It is very convenient for a small business that is starting its way to run this way and I also have great faith in long term advertising."

How else are you promoting yourself digitally?

"I have a private Facebook page, to which I upload videos. In addition, I post things I do on YouTube."

How has the corona affected your business?

"I performed piano at various events at the author's house in Tel Aviv, at book launches and parties and taught piano, and when the corona started, everything stopped. The truth is I went into shock. I had no idea what 'zoom' was and I did not know that piano could be taught other than frontally. How can I reinvent myself, because I saw how businesses around me are collapsing and I realized that what was, could not continue in the same way. I sat down in front of the computer and learned on YouTube how to operate the zoom optimally. I got better and started teaching that way. I went on to teach shorter piano lessons. The student's listening is different than in a frontal lesson.

Since the performances stopped completely, I decided it was also time to sit down and write new piano arrangements. I started uploading various arrangements I did and so I transferred my time, lock to lock. During this time I got requests to perform in homes and realized I had to adjust to the new situation. And release the thought that I only play the acoustic piano, because over the years I did not agree to perform and play on electric instruments.The corona forced me to 'recalculate a track' and bought an electric piano so I could take it with me to any house without a piano and play there.All of us, the musicians , N

So are my two children, Autumn Achai and Leary Achai, who are professional pianists and all their fellow musicians.

But in the end, everyone finds their way.

Therefore, starting next month I will start holding special Shabbat receptions for the general public, on Friday afternoons and depending on the situation.

I found a magical place in the village of Truman where you can play and entertain people.

It is a large courtyard, with lots of space, so that people will come, have time to rest and relax, listen to piano playing in a rich program and all over a glass of wine and candles, in a special sacred atmosphere.

" To get a different result, it is impossible to keep repeating the same actions.

You have to think differently and act differently. "

How do you imagine your business in 5 years?

" Classical music accompanied me from home.

This is music I grew up on and I feel it heals me.

Through it I try to sing my life and my dream is to touch through the music as many people as possible and know that I gave everything I had, in order to make our world a little more beautiful and good.
