"It is forbidden to move on to the agenda in light of the distribution of Pike News and alleged false advertising about land for construction in Ashdod," said the head of the roof agreement in Ashdod, Eyal Davidovich, following recent ads and publications.

He noted that an application had been made for misleading advertising to the Israeli Consumer Council.

"Misleading advertising is a misrepresentation, which could lead many families to unnecessary investment and financial losses," Davidovich added.

The city of Ashdod is facing significant expansion and the addition of thousands of housing units under the umbrella agreement, which was signed by the mayor of Ashdod, Dr. Yehiel Lasri, about 3 years ago with the Ministry of Housing and the Ministry of Finance. , Will be built in about 15 residential complexes within the existing quarters in the city, and also in new areas, which will be built from the ground up.

The flagship project of the roof agreement in Ashdod is the Lachish Park district, where about 2,700 housing units will be built.

This is a neighborhood that will be built along Lachish Park and Nahal Lachish, one of the city's symbols.

In the neighborhood, it is planned to build public and educational buildings next to a sports complex with a football stadium with 20,000 seats and a basketball hall with about 5,000 seats.

During the coming year, the land marketing procedure will be implemented and work will begin on preparing the infrastructure for the new neighborhood.

According to the municipality, there are those who are trying to present the Lachish Park district with another name - "the agricultural triangle", which is also known as the "Nahal Quarter".

These names actually refer to open areas that are located east of District 7 in Ashdod, the city's ultra-Orthodox district.

"These areas are not currently designated for construction, meaning the land is not thawed at all," it said.

The advertisements state that the Ashdod municipality is promoting plans to build 3,400 housing units while being able to purchase land for construction for close to NIS 200,000, "in one of the last land reserves in Ashdod."

The administration of the umbrella agreement, which promotes the Lachish Park district and the construction of thousands of housing units in the city, is in a hurry to restrict the misleading data.

"The Ashdod municipality is not promoting the agricultural triangle at this stage," Davidovich stressed.

"Whoever invests in the purchase of land with the aim of establishing a property in the future puts his money on the deer horn."
