The head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf, affirmed his country's determination to implement the strategic law to lift the ban imposed on it, considering that the nuclear industry helps to fundamentally thwart this ban.

Qalibaf said during his inspection of the Ali Muhammadi uranium enrichment complex today that, within the framework of implementing this law regarding the enrichment process at 20 percent, 17 kilograms of uranium were enriched within this percentage at the Fordo complex, explaining that the approval of this law is based on articles 36 and 37 of the nuclear agreement and when it returns Other parties to their obligations in practice, the law allows the Iranian government to return to its obligations.

On the first of last December, the Islamic Consultative Assembly approved the general outlines of the law (strategic measures to abolish the ban) and safeguard the interests of the Iranian people by a majority of votes.

For his part, the spokesman for the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Behrouz Kamalondi, announced that in less than three months, Iran will install 1,000 IR2M centrifuges, indicating that these devices are currently being manufactured and installed simultaneously.

"We are implementing the decision of the Islamic Consultative Assembly on nuclear activities to the fullest extent ... Parliament and the government will take the decision on withdrawing from the additional protocol," Kamalondi said in a statement today.
