The deadline for voting is February 28, and the voting results will be announced in late March.

The Observatory holds the "2016-2020 Top Ten Notable Weather and Climate Events Election". You can select 5 candidates from the two categories of "Hong Kong" and "Global" that are considered the most important and have the most far-reaching impact or are in a climate crisis The most representative weather and climate events.
In the Hong Kong category, the options include super typhoons Mangkhut and Hato, as well as the 132-hour typhoon Bebeca, the first time a black rainstorm warning was issued in October in 2016.
In the global category, there are Australian wildfires, Typhoon Feiyan hit Japan in 2018, and record loss of Greenland ice sheet in 2019.
The Observatory hopes to arouse public attention to major weather and climate events in Hong Kong and around the world, so as to deepen public awareness of climate change and its impact on human life.
Citizens who participated in the voting will have the opportunity to receive exquisite souvenirs from the Observatory. The voting ends on February 28, and the results will be announced in late March.
