Labor Party conference has confirmed this evening (Thursday) by a majority vote the decision of the party chairman Merav Michaeli leave the government. The decision is to force the ministers who serve on the Labor government, Amir Peretz Itzik Molly, leaving the government or the Labor Party.

Earlier, former MK Amar Bar-Lev announced that he intends to run in the primaries for the Labor Party list this coming Monday. Bar-Lev, former commander of the General Staff patrol and founder of the "Achrei" organization, was a Labor MK in the 19th Knesset. 20, as well as in the 22nd Knesset, but in the 23rd Knesset he was placed in ninth place on the combined list of Labor-Bridge-Meretz and remained outside the Knesset.
