Last Thursday (21st), a fire broke out in a unit in On Jiang Building, Chang'an Village, Tsing Yi. An 87-year-old female guest was unwell after inhaling heavy smoke. A foreign domestic helper, about 36 years old, tried to put a shop on the fire. With multiple burns to her body, including her face and arms, she was unconscious and was sent to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.

However, the foreign domestic helper fought with the god of death for 6 days and was postponed to 1:41 pm yesterday (27th) and was certified dead.

Some neighbours said that the 87-year-old woman moved to the upper address with her maid a few years ago, and the two often went out together, inseparable.

However, after the accident, the old woman’s family returned to the scene to pack her luggage and leave. It is unknown whether she will return to the previous address.

The neighbour also pointed out that the mother-in-law did not live with the children, so she was taken care of by the maid and went out together.
