Yesterday (27th) at 2 pm, during an anti-crime patrol at Tin Chak Village, Tin Shui Wai, police officers from the New Territories North Tactical Unit found a man who was acting suspiciously and did not wear a mask properly, suspected of violating the "Prevention and Control of Disease (Wear Mask)" Regulations (Chapter 599I), he stepped forward to stop and search, and found that half of the slingshot was exposed in the side pocket of the man’s backpack. Suspected that he had an offensive weapon, he stepped forward to intercept and search.

Officers found a slingshot on him and unlocked the mobile phone with his consent. They found a series of photos of girls' thighs and calves, and a photo of girls' underwear.

According to preliminary investigations, the 33-year-old man, whose surname is Huang, reported as a painting instructor. The girl in the picture is about 7 to 10 years old. It is believed that the girls are all students of the arrested man.

The 13th Squad, Yuen Long Police District Criminal Investigation Team, took over the investigation. After in-depth investigation, officers discovered that the arrested man’s mobile phone contained weapons including videos and photos of suspected pistols.

The police attached great importance to the case, and applied for an emergency search warrant in the court at night, and dispatched stormtroopers with live ammunition to the arrested’s three residences and workplaces in Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai to conduct searches.
