It was a few days after the savage assault of young Yuriy on the slab of Beaugrenelle, in Paris (15th).

About thirty kilometers away, in the town of Bourget (Seine-Saint-Denis), Brady, a 15-year-old teenager, was found lifeless, stabbed in the cellar of a city.

As in Paris, it is a dark story of brawl between rival gangs.

The case did not make any noise, but a week after Brady was found in a sorry state, the alleged perpetrators were confused, arrested and taken into police custody.

They are not much older than the victim: they are only 16 years old and are from the nearby town of Dugny.

This Thursday, their custody for "violence with a weapon in a meeting" was extended.

"If he hadn't been found quickly, he would have died"

On January 20, the police were called in for a brawl between young people.

The fight takes place near the Gai Logis residence, a small, usually quiet town in Le Bourget.

When the police arrive, everyone disperses.

The police begin to inspect the thickets for weapons, then they descend into the cellars of buildings.

It is there that they discover a young person bathed in his blood.

"He was unconscious," said a source close to the investigation.

The injured person has a swollen face, he also presents large lacerations on his stomach and deep wounds on the buttocks.

Five stab wounds.

His sneakers are gone.

All around him were abandoned sticks, iron bars, a tear gas canister.

His name is Brady and lives in Le Bourget but in another part of the city.

Brady will be saved.

But the police are convinced: “If he had not been found quickly, he would have died.

The teenager has just been caught up in yet another war of the gangs between Le Bourget and Dugny.

That day, shortly before curfew, young people from the Maurice-Thorez city of Dugny tumble into the Gai Logis to do battle.

"They wanted to avenge one of theirs who had been injured the day before in the eye by those of Le Bourget", indicates a police source.

Those of Dugny arrive at a dozen and take by surprise the young people of Bourget who are only a handful.

The latter manage to escape, except Brady who believes he finds refuge in a cellar.

Dugny's gang follows him and, once in the basement, they punch him, stab him many times and steal his pair of sneakers in the process.

Brady is seriously injured and is losing a lot of blood.

The attackers flee, leaving him for dead.

"They provoke each other by interposed rap clip"

None of the attackers could be arrested immediately.

But the CCTV cameras installed by the landlord of the residence will provide invaluable identification elements to investigators.

The perpetrators of the violence will also be talkative.

As is the rule after each punitive expedition, young people boast on social networks.

They proudly display their blades on Snapchat.

Thanks to these images, they will be quickly identified.

It turns out that they are part of a local rap group: Kartel 2 I, based in Dugny.

But there are big fears of a return leg.

The arrests are not long.

On Wednesday, eight suspected attackers were arrested.

Between the two enemy municipalities, the hatreds are deeply rooted.

Dugny versus Le Bourget or the reverse.

According to the mayor (DVD) of Le Bourget, Jean-Baptiste Borsali, “these wars have existed for ten years.

There have always been fights.

At the time, they opposed the great.

Then the little ones took over.

“They no longer know why they are fighting, laments the mayor.

They provoke each other by interposed rap clip by filming themselves on their opponent's territory and by ridiculing him, ”explains the elected official.

This is what the sociologist Thomas Sauvadet calls "delinquency of expression" in opposition to "delinquency of acquisition".

The first is based on reputation, prestige, "it is typically a reflex of adolescents", while the second is based on "economic interests, it is more discreet".

To break this spiral of violence, the city of Bourget is working with schools, youth services, the landlord, but also parents.

"They were stunned to learn what their child had done," slips an investigator.

"They have their share of responsibility," said the mayor.

These young people were outside when we were on the verge of curfew.

"He now relies on" exemplary sanctions to put an end to this phenomenon "and to avoid a possible return match.
