Saturday, January 16, the demonstrations had gathered 34,000 people in France, according to the Ministry of the Interior and 200,000 according to the organizers.
During these demonstrations, 75 people were arrested including 24 in Paris and 12 police and gendarmes were injured.
The last major demonstration took place on November 28, with 133,000 according to the Interior Ministry.
