The actor, known for the movie 'Call Me By Your Name', had to leave another project with Jennifer López last week

The actor Armie Hammer, well known for starring in the movie

Call Me By Your Name

(2017), has left the series that deals with the gestation of the movie

The Godfather

(1972) in which he was going to play the producer Al Ruddy after the Controversy unleashed by his alleged messages of extreme sexual content.

This is the second job that Hammer cancels as a result of the anonymous leak of some private messages in which he detailed some sexual fantasies, which in certain cases were very disturbing.

A few days ago, and for the same reason, he said goodbye to another tape that he was going to lead with Jennifer López.

Now, the series that will explore the filming of the masterpiece of cinema under the title of

The Offer,

a Paramount + format, will have to find a new protagonist.

For now, neither Hammer nor his team have commented on the decision, according to an exclusive from

Variety

magazine

.

The actor's career took a 180-degree turn earlier this year with the leak (through screenshots) of alleged messages with lurid content that he sent to women on social networks.

In one of those alleged messages from Hammer to a woman he said that he was "100% cannibal", while another text allegedly spoke of tearing bones and muscles.

"It makes me horny to think about holding your heart with your hand and controlling it when it beats," says one of the messages that the actor has supposedly sent.

“I am 100% cannibal.

I want to eat you.

Damn, it's scary to admit.

I've never admitted it before.

I have cut the heart of a living animal before and I have eaten it while it was still warm.

"Multiple Armie Hamer victims have revealed that he used his fame to manipulate them into sex, calling them 'kittens' and telling them he wanted to drink their blood," revealed a tweeter, who made a thread showing several of the captures he had of different users.

Other images were of Instagram and Tik Tok users who showed their support, as they claimed to have received similar messages.

In fact, there are some captures in which, allegedly, he asks a girl to stay because he needs to "drink her blood" and she accepts.

"Will you give it to me tomorrow?

Don't forget that you are mine ”, he asks her.

The actor's name was a global trend for weeks, especially after one of his ex-partners, such as Courtney Vucekovich, confirmed to the press the "rare" sexual fetishes of his ex-boyfriend.

After Hammer's departure from the comedy that he was going to star in with Jennifer Lopez,

Shotgun Wedding

, the actor assured that those striking messages were not his.

"I am not responding to these fucking lies, but in light of the vicious and spurious internet attacks against me I cannot leave my children with a good conscience for four months to shoot a movie in the Dominican Republic," he said to try to close a controversy that is still very much alive in the networks.

It is not the first time that Hammer has been involved in a controversy of a sexual nature.

Already in 2017, the interpreter of hits such as

Call Me by Your Name

(2017) and

The social network

(2010)

He garnered a lot of criticism when it became known that he had

liked

some posts about

bondage

and domination

sex

.

The actor had previously spoken in an interview about his unconventional sexual practices.

In 2013, he had no qualms about revealing

intimate details

to

Playboy

about his past sexual habits, as well as the change he made in that regard when he married the mother of his two children and now ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers.

“I liked to hold the neck and the hair and all that.

[…] But then you get married and your sexual appetites change ”.
