A judicial investigation was opened Friday following the death last April of a resident with Covid-19 in an nursing home in Sèvres (Hauts-de-Seine), AFP learned from the Nanterre public prosecutor's office.
This judicial information was opened for "
aggravated manslaughter
" and "
non-assistance to person in danger
", further indicated the prosecution, confirming information from the

Last November, another judicial investigation was opened against X for "
manslaughter by willful breach of a particular obligation of caution
" and for "
non-assistance to a person in danger
" after a 96-year-old woman with Covid -19 died in a retirement home in Hauts-de-Seine belonging to the Korian group.
This judicial information is still in progress, the public prosecutor told AFP on Friday.
