These scenes, during which police and gendarmes are injured or even killed, have been repeated in recent months.
These refusals to comply have, according to our information, also jumped 5.1% in 2020, an offense committed every 20 minutes, and no longer every 30 minutes as it was just a few months ago.
Last year, several tragedies followed one another, in particular during the last summer.
In quick succession, two representatives of the police lost their lives.
Last July, Mélanie Lemée, a 25-year-old gendarme, was fatally mowed down by a motorist who was trying to bypass an interception device in Port-Sainte-Marie, in the Lot-et-Garonne.
The following month at Le Mans in the Sarthe region, a 43-year-old policeman died after being dragged by the vehicle of a drunk driver that the police were trying to stop.
