Minimum compensation for partial activity reduced to 72% of net compensation

The minimum compensation received by employees on short-time work will drop from 84% of net remuneration to 72%, within a limit of 4.5 times the minimum wage.

The State will also reduce its reimbursements to the employer, the remainder of which will be reduced from 15 to 40%.

These measures do not apply in companies that have signed a long-term partial activity agreement.

Likewise, vulnerable employees, or those having to keep a child, will keep 84% of their net salary, but the remainder at 40% will be applied to the employer.

Finally, the sectors most affected such as tourism, culture, or catering will continue to benefit from a special status, namely remuneration equal to 84% of the net salary for employees and a zero charge for the company.

Regulated gas prices will increase by 3.5%

Under the effect of higher prices on the financial markets, caused by a cold snap in Asia, regulated gas prices will increase by 3.5% on average on February 1.

The increase is 0.9% for customers who use gas for cooking, 2.1% for those who have dual use, cooking and hot water, and 3.7% for homes that heat themselves. gas.

“Blue” electricity tariffs up 1.6%

The long-awaited 1.6% increase in “blue” tariffs will come into effect on February 1.

This increase of 15 euros per year on average is justified by the consequences of the health crisis, explains the Energy Regulatory Commission.
