Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the security situation in the Russian Far East is still unclear, but Moscow is fully aware of all possible risks and threats in it.
According to TASS, Putin stressed, during his meeting today with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council, the importance that the Far East region enjoys for Russia, noting that the situation in this region is developing in a complex way, and we are aware of all the threats and will discuss them.
"It is for this reason that the relevant agencies and agencies in our country and the Russian government are constantly working on issues related to developments in the situation in the Far East of Russia," Putin added.
The meeting, which took place via video conferencing, was attended by Valentina Matvienko, President of the Russian Federation Council, the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, President of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Ministers of Interior, Defense and Foreign Affairs, Director of the Federal Security Service and Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
